Born in Brooklyn and raised in Merrick, Crystal Alcantara is a proud Merrick mom, community member, and the owner of Good Life Club Haus. Of Puerto Rican descent, Crystal carries her culture, creativity, and family values into everything she does. She’s a graduate of Calhoun High School (Class of 2007) and has spent her life surrounded by educators—her mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt—all inspiring her lifelong passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.

Crystal went on to study Early Childhood Education, where she discovered her calling to work with children in her own unique way. In 2015, she founded Tykes and Tots, a warm, play-based preschool for children ages 0–4. What began as a small dream grew into a thriving, trusted space for early learning and growth.

Good Life Club Haus became Crystal’s next chapter—a heartfelt creation born from both love and loss. After the passing of her daughter, Good Life became her redemption and her way of transforming grief into joy, hope, and community. Today, she continues to pour her heart into creating magical, meaningful experiences for children and families, including her own daughter Brielle, who attends school right in Merrick.

For Crystal, Good Life isn’t just a business—it’s a reflection of her journey, her resilience, and her deep belief in finding light, laughter, and connection through every season of life.
